As an American Kennel Club-affiliated organization, we advocate for responsible breeding practices, breed education, and participation in AKC events. We believe that canine sports provide a meaningful way to showcase the purpose and versatility of purebred dogs while strengthening the bond between handlers and their dogs—regardless of pedigree.

At the Moore County Kennel Club, we’re all about celebrating the bond between people and their dogs—through sport, education, and community.
Each year, we host 34 events spanning six exciting canine sports: Agility, Conformation, Coursing, Fit Dog, Rally, and Scent Work. Whether you’re a newcomer or a seasoned competitor, there’s something for every dog and handler.
But it’s not all competition—we love to have fun, too! Our calendar includes social events like club meeting dinners, Fit Dog walks, Agility and Obedience Fun Days, our Annual Picnic, and a festive Holiday Party.
We’re also passionate about learning and sharing knowledge. Our educational programs cover topics such as breed standards, preventative care, physical therapy, and even planning for our pets’ futures through estate considerations.
Beyond the events and education, we believe in giving back. Supporting our community and making a positive impact is a core part of who we are. Learn more about these initiatives HERE.
Most of all, we value camaraderie. If you’d enjoy being part of a friendly, diverse group of dog lovers dedicated to promoting dog sports and responsible ownership, we’d love to hear from you. Email us or connect with us on Instagram, Facebook, and our Facebook Group to learn more!
