There’s a sport for almost every dog.
Whether your dog loves to run, sniff, jump, follow cues, show off beautiful movement, or simply enjoy a healthy walk with you, there are many ways to get involved. Use the cards below to explore official AKC resources and learn more about each activity.

Agility
A fast, exciting sport where dogs navigate obstacles such as jumps, tunnels, weave poles, and contact equipment while following their handler’s cues.
Rally
A team sport where dog and handler move through a course of signs, completing obedience-based exercises together.
CAT / FastCAT
Lure-chasing sports that let dogs run individually after an artificial lure. FastCAT is a timed 100-yard dash, while CAT uses a longer coursing-style path.
Scent Work
A confidence-building sport that lets dogs use their natural sense of smell to search for hidden odors and communicate finds to their handler.
