AKC Fit Dog

Now, more than ever, fitness is important for both dogs and people. The most commonly recommended exercise is walking.

The Fun Committee will be discussing re-enacting the Fit Dog Group. This is where we walk together with our dogs. The AKC will recognize us as a group if we conduct at least 4 group fitness walks per year or conduct regularly scheduled canine fitness / conditioning classes.

If you have interest in this, please contact either Carol Dowd or Ellen Pfann.

Upcoming Elections

Thank you to Member Naomi Johnson for stepping up to Chair Moore County Kennel Club’s Nominating committee!

The Club will require 2-4 new Directors/Officers to start in 2024. Anyone interested in being more involved with our club, please contact Naomi. She will need people to sit on the committee, as well as some membership to fill vacancies.
